In light of the recent moral failures of high profile ministers I found myself asking how does that happen. There are many answers to that questions but the main one for me was daily relationship. Especially when it comes to areas that we know we need accountability in. Most often for men it is a lust/sexual sin that is being dealt with. As young men growing in the Lord we may overcome these things and feel confident in them, but if we stop fighting that battle, get comfortable or begin to rely on our own strength instead of God's we can end up falling into the same pit. I don't know if that makes sense to anybody besides myself, and I'm ok with that right now, but my walk with God is a daily one that I am accountable to God first and that is the only way I can move forward the way I know God wants me too.
