Now that the internship is coming to an end, I’ve been thinking about what a way to say thank you to all the people who have supported me financially the past two years. I wanted it to be something meaningful because without their support, I would seriously not have been able to accomplish what I did. It really was a blessing not having to worry about money at any point during the internship.
After thinking about it for awhile, I came to the conclusion that I wanted to create a little book for them with things I’ve learned in EDJ. More specifically, things I’ve learned in EDJ that I also want to pass on to all future interns.
At the same time, I was hoping to kill two birds with one stone. I ran across this service I wanted to try called Blurb. According to their website, you can publish your own “bookstore quality books.” Rather than ghetto-rig a book with my own resources, I felt like it was worth the expense to give a quality gift.
So over the course of the next month and a half, I’ll be posting things I hope to include in that book. Stay tuned!
Oh, and to my fellow interns who read this . . . please feel free to comment with what lessons you’ve learned in EDJ that you think would be the most beneficial to future interns.
